the past couple of nights have been great with good company. popped by ntu for the very first time in my life to visit waiching and shiyun with special missions on hand. then nua-ed in hall 15 as the rain drizzled outside. i was worrying that the fireworks festival would be cancelled or something and ended up still in hall15 at 7pm.

needless to say, despite me abit reluctant to go (cuz no umbrella), i still chionged down to cityhall. and thankfully it only started at 930pm and that we (me choonkeong jianlin xiting weiqi denise) were allowed to entry at 9plus so we still had ample time to eat at carl's jr (i ate the fries and onion rings only).

it was BEAUTIFUL. and we got great seats despite the long flights of steps that we have to take. then there was the camwhoring after the fireworks. me and hweepeng love the singapore flyer!



ytd was agi rehearsal and there's the insistent drizzle (which turned to a downpour at a point of time) throughout the whole event. got amazed by the number of floor-length mirrors that was hung around in dhs. and the bomb-shelter-ish dhsssjab room. i could see the love for the room in the dhs trainees after packing in 71cartons and 14 bottles of water, 25 flags and parade marking sticks into the room.

basket was my word of the day yesterday. not that i'm pissed off though. though there wasn't much things to do, the chats with the otc ppl still made my day better. (but not the teasings please)

dinner was in holland v with the smallest number of instructors to date. me qj siying william mrtan. was talking nonsense again. yy called me after dinner and we had hilarious moments when i'm passing william's comments to yy and the realisation of the perfect song for poc. thanks to william who offered to drive me to serangoon mrt. but not-the-packing-__-to-celine-will make-me-sad-part (celine called when i asked her where to meet via sms).

met up with celine eddison kwangyew xiaoqiang wanzhen (all PUB scholars) at serangoon mrt station and we took a longgggg time to decide on where to go. finally settled for ahchew's dessert and we took 100. passed by Grand Ballroom, 420 Beach Road along the way.

ahchew's was renovated and i didn't realised it until ytd. it was bigger with another room and guess what, i saw wong huijie! ohmygosh. he was wearing all white and i went omg when he came into the room. (with a girl, no less)

after ahchew, we went over to the 来来红烧牛肉面 cuz eddison kept wanting to eat it. but we just stood there and pondered on where else to go. decided to go Paradiz Centre to play pool. xiaoqiang left at then (wanzhen left earlier). we ended up at some nearby pool shop though. seems like guys are always the pro ones in pool! but celine does have some flair in pool.

played until 1am before we walked back up past bugis junction to draw money at cheers and then settled down at a nearby coffeeshop. the rest ate and after eating we camwhored with celine's earrings. (: and we talked and talked. celine i'll consider getting a microphone soon so that we can skype okay.




in the cab back home we started singing school songs.

oh i missed the ndp08 outing! all because of my aching shoulder. )))))):

the time is ticking, and i know i will really really miss celine. i'll probably bring a towel as promised. (:

i'm boggled with the raw mix of emotions. a myriad of events have unfolded (and are still unfolding) in the short span of the past few days and i don't know how exactly to deal with them. let nature take its flow. and i pray it will not come true.

you know for the past few days i think we temps are rather wacky and over the top. today's probably e epitome, with me spending so much time at the computers talking to people. jesslyn swung by once to tell us (me and derek) that sylvia was looking at the cctvs which was on her desk (she has one computer screen dedicated to like 10 cctv screens)

and we are behaving like temps, leaving super early! though still not on the dot at 6pm, but well, for the sake of OT so be it. :D then jesslyn and huiting have this conspiracy which will be unveiled tomorrow! today they're so slack that they can start packing up 30mins to 6.

then there's derek who's promoting his gf's online blog shop to practically all the female colleagues in export. even john is buying. HA! derek downloaded all the photos and passed his iphone around to let us see. SUCH A GREAT BOYFRIEND I TELL YOU.

i've finally settled my last day in BTMU! (though i've decided it long time ago). 12sept! me jesslyn derek huiting are so looking forward to it and we're planning to have a long lunch! too bad jim's leaving 3days earlier than us.

i'm kinda looking forward to the weekend (and friday cuz i'm planning to take half day off!) ahead, though i'm having agi rehearsal. but well, it's time to meet up with the otc ppl! :D and then there's the ndp gathering on sunday, followed by celine's farewell at the airport..

SIGH. thinking about this makes me a tad sad. i will so miss celine! ): so celine we should go island creamery this friday to have ice-cream! and then we take photo and stick it on e wall! :D

ohyes i can't decide whether to continue learning my super rusty french (je ne comprend pas! mais je m'appelle wei ting! okay that's gibberish. hoho) or a new language ie italian! (i non si sa!)

what is the odds of finding your primary-school-&-k2-classmate-of-7-years's elder brother to be a fellow scholarship holder with one of your besties from secondary school? and that he still remembers the unglam things that you've done in primary school?

close to zero i would say.

anyways. 2008 has been a year when i realised my different groups of friends are somehow inter-linked. like i didn't know that priscilla and adi were from northland! and meeting the super old friends! (:

last night was marvellous, though we were like in several cliques. but heck, the alcohol has managed to work its magic (not to mention the activities!) and by the end of the night we were (sort of) mixing around! realised eddison lived like one junction away from my house (was just 5blks away before i moved!), talked about baking cakes with vijay and pravin (did i get his name right?) and talked about alcohol (and drank mixers) with kwangyew.

we nearly drank more smirnoffs (with juice of course) but vijay/jiaqing/vincent said no cuz if i do, they would throw me into the taxi boot. apparently i reeked of alcohol but i only drank like 3 cups! eddison and kwangyew insisted that chivas + greentea is marvellous (even better than on the rocks with just water and ice, which i think is marvellous enough), so perhaps i can try it out some day. oh and the BOLS lychee liqueur smelled good. the martini was great!

cel we should go for a round of drinks before you fly off! how about this friday? we get e usual gang! :D

ZOMG mans. in the past years it's like one month one album, and now i've gotten 14 in like close to 7mths! =x and i'm considering buying 南拳妈妈's 优的良曲南搞小孩(新歌加精选辑), The Ting Ting's We Started Nothing, 五月天's upcoming album and of course Jay! no wonder my money depletes so quickly. jesslyn and derek were saying i could have just downloaded the songs. lol.

life in btmu was pretty sian, but at least there's still ppl to talk to. started talking more to zen and minting lately. super jokes man. then me and derek started becoming paparazzi (when gretna and annie like to gossip about the two of us. LOL). we were like noticing something's fishy between jesslyn and jim (another temp who filled up yuanting's position), at least in jim's part. caught him looking intently at jesslyn doing her work while waiting for kevin to do his stuff so that he (jim) can bring e docs back to 7th floor!

so we concluded that jim's probably interested in jesslyn, and it doesn't help that jesslyn's super friendly to everyone and can start convos easily (even for guys). was telling gretna and annie that and gretna argued that jesslyn's got her bf of 8years and i rebutted, quoting what gretna had said when she was teasing me and derek (who has gf): 只要还没结婚, 就是有可能! and she said NO. lol.

me and derek are contemplating our next step to confirm jim's interest and i tell you, it sure makes life in btmu more fun. haha. oh and that idiot has ponned another 2 more days. well done.

but heck. so little time with so many things to do! OHNO.

UH. i was hoping to put truckloads of photos in this entry for the events over the past few days: noorlin's birthday celebration and ndp! budden my facebook is down (no koping of photos from jesslyn), i'm too lazy to upload e photos (reached home late for the past few days and today got migraine. GRR) and i'm still waiting for the kids to send the photos around. i want the photos with the airforce guys (i've been gleefully telling ppl about the cute guy who smiled at me!) and the parade RSM! damn cute la.

anyway yeah. the past 3 days had been good. kfc/pizza/cake from awfully chocolate for lunch and camwhoring with derek and jesslyn on friday. oldchangkee and pizzahut dinner on saturday! (i koped 3 chicken wings from calvin cuz he too sick to eat. AWWW) and it was fun talking to the cadets! hurhur. not to mention the sembcorp ppl got very high! they did the rifle drill (some 3 salutes thing) with balloons! haha. then everybody was singing happy birthday to singapore especially after the parade when we have 7 bottles of sparkling juice each to celebrate. and e camwhoring/fervent signing of umbrellas. seriously, i think i got more high this year than 2003. :D

was feeling damn tired on sunday cuz i didnt sleep my usual 7 hours. was 5hours instead. rah. and we had theory lessons in the morning. GAWD. tried hard to keep awake. then it started to rain. me kiatsiang choonkeong ran out to get lunches for the juniors (with umbrellas of course) and my shoes got so wet! but thankfully timo lent me his slippers to wear for awhile! heh.

afternoon was better cuz it was all practical as we tried out primary survey, bandaging, the air filter thing, cervical collars and saf stretcher. the logroll thing was awesome too. heh. and we ended 1hr earlier! woot. but i still left at 7plus. it was pretty standard that if you have friends around in the hq, you would start talking to them. ha. was doing filing for the otc stuff and talking crap with hweepeng and zipeng.

and jq, i'm not too hardcore sj lo. next weekend is free of sj! but okay la after that got sj again. HA.

then today. it started out pretty fine until e migraine started plaguing me. was seriously contemplating to leave earlier. but i popped 2 panadol extra from derek and it was okay again. money more important alrights. haha.

you know. your marvellous stunt is the talk of the month and would probably be a legend. was at the computers with zen when he said that he's feeling sick and i recommended him to do the same stunt as you and he said he don't have the heart to. to think that i used to think of you as a nicer person than him.

p.s. the 16thaugust outing is cancelled! =x

i'm quite pissed. although i was joking around about the topic earlier on.

eight consecutive days leh. if what you claimed is true, i would have recommended you to the hospital, A&E no less, last week and not getting referral letter to hospital like only today. what the hell are you thinking?

i do know for sure that in the beginning it was just lies, so don't count on me in believing totally about what you've said. calling in the morning to notify your absence once every two days is really idiotic and irresponsible. you're planting false hopes in your colleague/buddy with that stunt of yours and seriously, i would say you deserve a bashing for that. what is it that makes you unable to reply a simple sms from us quickly? too much mahjong or too sick? i don't know.

how coincidental that i have this bill that stayed with me since last week, with the same span of time of your absence. i'm finally sending it out tomorrow, but i doubt you'll be back anytime soon.
