18.01.2008 IS SUCH A MEMORABLE NIGHT!!!!!

i bet all the other fans who attended the concert would definitely agree with me. i mean, how often would your idol organise a concert on his birthday! which jay said 没想到生日要那么喘 (after singing/dancing 牛仔很忙).

and OMG there's really a lot of concert memorabilia! 15 types in total with the most expensive one going at 65 bucks (jacket and a chain-bracelet) regretted that i didn't bring enough money! only bought the 新加坡版公仔(my best buy), 经典版购物袋 (you should be seeing me carry it soon. :D), 粉红公仔手机吊饰 & 黑色织带票夹组. got my brother's church friend to help me get a tshirt, posters, files and the 公仔版购物袋. hehe. (apparently alot of other people had asked her to help them buy, and the money she hafta bring is like 400bucks!! OMG. but i did see someone spending 200bucks straightaway)

saw arthur and liwen too. hehe.

had a glitzy start with the feathers and golden-ish amour-ish costume, singing 黄金甲 (what else?), 无双, 最后的战役 and then a change of clothes (9 in total). then came my second favourite outfit, tshirt with fur-ish looking vest and pants (& leather gloves). sang 不能说的秘密 & 退后. then took a breather and asked whether there's a birthday cake for him. (which is no, and he followed up saying 没关系, 我妈妈在家里有准备) & then 麦芽糖.

next is cowboy clothes! 牛仔很忙! after the song he asked 谁要带我回家? & the part about 没想到生日要那么喘. then back to his birthday and he asked 生日要谢谢谁? which we replied 妈妈. and of course the next song is 听妈妈的话. there's this video during the song, showing 周润发 yo yo-ing like some hip-hopper (which all of us laughed) and during a break in the song, 张学友 sang the chorus! :D

next is my second favourite part!! transparent piano! black suit with white tie and fedora!


that's my favourite outfit. sang 黑色幽默 & 最长的电影 (accompanied by the MV, which made me nearly cry!) before launching into the next song, he said 其实啊, 每个地方啊, 几乎都是穿一样的. 那今天怎么样不一样, 就把外套脱掉.(i find this part quite funny) 因为这里还蛮热的. 但没关系. 其实因为之前感冒啊, 那现在来到这里, 觉得很温暖很舒服. (& sth like有点像烤箱).

then it's 安静 which he surprisingly didn't play the piano and 忘词 for the chorus again. & 白色风车. while changing clothes, a video played, with 宇豪 & the cute girl which danced with Jay in 牛仔很忙MV. 宇豪calls her大妮 and was sad that Jay snatched her away. got this part which he thinks to himself, 就算会双截棍又怎样? (plays the scene in the 双截棍MV where Jay plays with the nanchaku) & he vowed to get her back. then 宇豪 appeared on the right side of the stage, playing the piano. (which i think is the piece Secret)

then Jay appeared on the left side, in tshirt & jeans, playing the same tune. didn't recognize the tune, so i think it's either Secret or the piece which they were playing against each other in the movie. & then they danced! (street dance) quite zai okay.

next is white Oriental-ish costume with white fedora. (while waiting a lady played 二胡 and a poem written by 方文山 appeared on the screens) sang 千里之外, 菊花台 & 本草钢目, which he danced the zai-est dance! some of the steps is like the dance chuankai, john, lijian & glen danced in 2006. didn't know he can dance so well already! haha. 弹头 came out and Jay played with the 扯铃, which flew quite high!

next is 南拳妈妈, singing Tonight, What Can I Do & 牡丹江. 6th set of clothes is white long-sleeved shirt, checkered vest, black pants and a cane. (think he's trying old England look) it's 夜的第七章 along with Lara as the female voice and 宇豪 singing along (he appeared in the MV as the assistant of Sherlock Jay and also the murderer)

next he appeared on the right side with a humgunous pink high heel with 2 sexy women dancing around him as he sang 夜曲 (don't really understand why the women were there, when 夜曲 is supposed to be sad)

then 迷迭香 with salsa dancers and he did a dance with one of the female dancers, who went down to the crowds and danced around as Jay got changed. the band continued playing the song, which is damn nice but i didn't manage to record it down. :(

then my favourite part. acoustic with a guy at the tribal-ish drums, 宇豪 at keyboard, 弹头 vocals, Jay (black shimmery shirt & purple pants) & 张杰 & another guy guitars. Jay demanded for birthday song, which we sang in english & chinese version, led by 弹头. then he 发表生日感言 (新加坡的朋友最够意思了) & recommend 南拳妈妈to 办签唱会in singapore cuz the first time he came he 发现新加坡的歌迷最热情了 (but he never had a 签唱会 in singapore after his first album!) & also 这里最温馨的就是没有狗仔队啦 & 新加坡是个好地方! heh.

then 张杰 reckons that out of all the songs Jay sang, there's this song which he feels that Jay didn't bring out the feel and they sang the slow version of 忍者. then sang about some anti-Jay song which 南拳妈妈 put in their album (Jay ask how come their company let them put such a song, and then realising later that it's his company JVR. ha). and Jay sang the 改编版 of 双截棍.

then 彩虹&开不了口. after that he's like should sing some happy love songs and not always the sad ones and prompted us to guess the next song, which is 甜甜的. the crowd started getting even more high in the next song, 阳光宅男. before that Jay & his band disappeared for a while. then the drummer came out and prompted us to chant for Jay with his drumbeats. then Jay appeared playing another set of drums! (which he threw the drumsticks to the crowd in front). during the song he walked down of the stage la!! omg.

last set of clothes: golden jacket & pants with black top inside. appeared while playing 古筝 & launched into 发如雪. then he kept swirling his fan as he sang 霍元甲 & played with nanchaku as he sang 双截棍, e last song of the night. (which he threw his nanchaku out too)

ohyes the effects are marvellous too! love every bit of the concert! and it was a very very happy one with Jay being so happy and everything (i'm guessing it's because it's his birthday). JVR better use 18jan's concert as the footage for the DVDs and CDs! i reckon it would be the most special, since we wun be singing birthday songs at his other concerts eh!

p.s i think i know which hotel Jay resides in. hehe.
