ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

my brother is finally at tekong!

i think it will take me like another day or so before i would really miss his presence at home! blame it on him going for so many overseas trips in the past 4-5 weeks la. =p and he's in school 1 Falcon company section 3! (dunno which platoon)

anyway. yesterday dined at AMK Hub's Fish & Co. before my brother went over to the QB House nearby to shave his hair! hehehe. but it's not the shortest that i've ever seen though. cuz it doesn't sting as much when i play with his hair! haha. and my mum's funny. when she was giving some toiletries to my brother, she said i've bought you a new comb and my brother's like i'm going to be botak no need comb la. lol!

kissing fish! :D

please call me mr cool eh. (:

squidy! :D

then today reached pasir ris bus interchange kinda on time! BUT! kinda got advised about our attire cuz all of us wore like berms, and then me and my younger brother wore slippers too! but when we were at tekong, saw others who wore shorts AND slippers too. so yeah. not exactly a big deal. =p

so just went around the place and saw many recruits training. okay it's bad to say this but i think some of their drills really CMI. i saw one like just walking when others are marching la. tsktsk. ohyes their track makes me wanna run! lol.

and then i was thinking. if i join the army, maybe six to seven years later when my younger brother goes tekong and i'm accompanying him, maybe some of the commanders would call me as Ma'am and that would certainly be damn cool! hahah. but the odds of me going army is really small la. thought of this cuz a few days ago i told alastair and fabian that i considered joining army before and alastair said i can be medic. lol!

seriously, i think the soldiers are like having a good life la. got new backpack (okay it's armygreen), new sports shoes (newbalance leh!), all the accessories, especially the HYDRATION PACK! i'm like OHMYGOSH when the guy doing the talking showed us that they got this carrier thing where there is this compartment to hold the hydration pack. and it's THREE LITRES! and there's the raincoat that i want! but it's not sold in tekong eh. cost like 100bucks at Beach Road. =x

well, they are sacrificing their two years. but still. i think they have good stuff and that's on top of good food and some money eh. if you ask me, i think i wouldnt mind going NS too. hahah.

then went to auditorium for the presentation and then the affirming of allegiance. cool eh! after that 'picked up' my brother (they were standing outside in two lines to wait for us to join them and head for the dining area). lunched. was okay. after that jiu headed home le.

ohyes. saw a few not-bad-looking guys over there! the best one that i've seen was sitting at the table in front of mine when we were waiting for the buses to go over to the auditorium. he was eating and JUST NICE sat facing me! hehehehe. and there's this guy (visitor) who got like turquoise painted nails! totally OMG cann. and there's this two enlistees who got really THICK LONG hair and another one who wore like branded long-sleeved shirt and pants la! (looks branded to me. lol)

saw quite a number of planes today! nice nice. kinda envy my ex-nyjc classmate renjie who claimed that he can like see the Changi Airport control tower from where he lives la. that means he could have seen quite a number of planes flying by everyday! gosh.

tomorrow going Red Rain concert! (:
p.s. i think Wild Rockets is such a cool restaurant! and Wild Oats the bar beside it! makes me wanna go cooking! (:
