HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!

as usual i spent my CNY eve and the first 2 days of CNY at Malaysia, where the majority of my paternal side of the family live. personally, i think things sorta get kinda duller over the years. firstly, my 2nd uncle and little aunt had moved out of the two houses that were right beside each other, thus e old houses are the only place that we would gather for the meals. as we were closer to my aunt's children (cuz they got computers and everything), we crashed her house all the time.

in the past, we would gamble on the first day of CNY, but now it's become a sleeping session after a morning sermon at the church (a very quick one), for my brothers and cousins (aunt's children) chiong-ed DOTA through the night. 2nd night would be worse, cuz my elder aunt's children would also come (from Singapore) and they would chiong DOTA through the night. apparently my cousin's supposed to bring a 8-port router but he didn't, so they played 4-port games. i think it would be damn crazy if the 7 guys really chiong-ed altogether (there's like 3 PCs and 4 laptops readily available at then).

didn't gamble this year, and i was feeling quite sian for some of the times. but thank goodness for the sleeping-in session. i realised things were more fun at night, apparently. on the night of 初一, 15 of us were in the quite small house of my little aunt's. kinda crazy but it's fun. brought back the leftovers from the steamboat in the afternoon (i slept through it) and we ate. drank Bailey's earlier on. dun like the aftertaste.

if there's something i really like about being in Malaysia during CNY and not being able to message my friends, it would be the free fireworks display on the CNY eve, and after the clock strikes twelve. didn't take much photos cuz i was busy taking video. they had some new designs for the fireworks this year and i really loved the purple fireworks. uber nice. on 初一night, i was standing on a chair, trying to hang the 爆竹, when there's this majestic firework just burst right on top of me. uber nice! (:

the steamboat. lots of mushrooms, fishballs, squids (i ate ALOT!), prawns etc. lots of goodness!

i think i really love this cousin of mine a lot, even though he just simply loves to whack me violently. lol. but at least he remembered to greet me when i arrived on CNY eve. (:

there's this breakfast shop that my family frequents since eons ago, and it was like last year when i noticed this guy (in dark blue-greyish tshirt at the center back of the picture) who's helping out at the shop. got myself to take pictures of him, since i can just fake it and say i'm taking pictures of my family, since we were occupying 3 tables. :D

i like his hair. ha. and his voice was alright, unlike some of the guys in sa. haha. :P think he should be around my age bah. too bad my mum doesn't know him well, if not she probably would have chatted up with him, like what she did to another boy who's helping out at the shop too (but younger than me). heh. (anyway at the foreground of the picture is my cousin and his girlfriend)

another thing is, i dunno why some guys just like to harass people. this time is a guy who claimed to be in SA. and he thinks that he had seen me exposed myself before. lameshit. if he's really from sa (he claimed that he's J2 currently), then he's really a disgrace to SA. PUIPUI

good things really do come unexpected, but sometimes they came at the wrong time, giving people insufficient time to deal with them. as a result, things might just slip away right in front of the people's eyes. on a brighter note, at least you know such good things really do come by sometimes, whether you do like it or not. (:
