back from camp!

although i've got e pre-camp jittery, time at camp seems to have fly by really quickly! cuz today during debrief with e course chairman (Mr Tan YP), camp commandant (aeron.kwek sir), deputy camp commandant (chuiyee.mdm) and secretary (huiling.mdm), i was thinking about the past few days and wondered how come it ended so quickly. lol.

on friday went to hq with weikeat (from Oscar) together cuz his block is just a road across from my block. took bus instead of mrt cuz he got bus concession n it would cost him 2bucks if we take train. doinks. and e funny thing is that when e bus was reaching e bus-stop opposite khatib mrt station (which is e next stop after we boarded e bus), he said we can go take train if i really want to. o.O didn't do it in e end. ha.

took 855 n changed to 980 at e bus-stop in front of Pierce Secondary School (his secondary school). n that guy is really steady lar, cuz he went out to buy breakfast at Mr Bean twice after we're supposed to report (once is for himself and the other time is for yeanlih).

met up with the Juliet people and leovine's saying e guys vs girls thingy again. O.o did all e admin stuff, chatted with different groups of people before the bus actually arrived. before that saw junyang in casual attire at the back of the hall and dunno who commented that those tshirts with a BIG nike logo are fake (cuz junyang's wearing such tshirt). hah.

it was in e buses when we see that Alpha division has soooo much more people going for e camp as compared to the Bravo division. lol.

anyway, Juliet's trainer is a Zone 2 paramedic! =D his name is jeffery but got himself a muslim name cuz all the other trainers are malay. LOL.

as usual, did ice-breakers which is damn fun (e Aye Aye Captain! game). set objectives etc. and e Juliet people said leovine looks like a Thai Construction Worker, aka TCW! so when i suan him i'll say he's TCW RIP (Rich Indonesian Playboy) and MINDS. hahaahh. =D then crystal's called e Penguin. dunno why but she's enjoying it. hahah. we even had e Penguin Dance! =DDD

after that had lunch and then games. did SOC (Standard Obstacle Course), raft-building, team-building games and learning how to read maps and how to use compass for e next day's expedition. (we're hiking! bahhh.) after that is dinner, song session (where yeanlih did e super fast I got peace by the river and one of e campfire emcees calls him Mr Yellow cuz he wore yellow tshirt. hah), candlefight (to get your candle lit to your opponent's base and try to break a piece of rafia string into two by burning it. Alpha division all attacked Oscar. hah!), supper, debrief, shower and then sleep!

one thing to note is that got two trainers who are damn funny. one is called rin and e other's got e nickname longpin. hah. you should really see how they got against each other by doing cheers (Alpha vs Bravo).

after showering chatted with the agi comm people. hee. then we gathered for AAR again. chatted until 12.30am. slept on e floor cuz no place for me to sleep on e bunks. then e first firedrill (codenamed Blue Eagle, cuz apparently the CC (should be camp commandant) and e DCC like blue and eagle (dunno who likes which one) and thus e derivation of such codename) came at around 1.20am. then had 3 triages in a row, with e third triage being cut halfway through e operation cuz another group which is camping at e same site is complaining (they are a bunch of chinese scholars from what i've heard). so went to sleep again at around 5 n woke up at 6.

highlight of e second day is e land expedition. planned e routes and then presented to aeron.sir chuiyee.mdm mimi (e camp chief) our plan. but need to redo. bahhh. and some of e Juliet people got stunned when we heard that other than our instructor huishi, junyang is joining us too! OMG.

took group photo (with e instructors) in front of e signboard of Sarimbun Scout Camp and we emphasized on e point SMILE! haha. this is something that e whole OTC'06 knows. =D in fact, me crystal are like on e constant lookout for e smiles and got amused by some of his movements. hahhahahaah!

hiked to Perahu Road, goat farm, frog farm, somewhere near e Lim Chu Kang Coast Guard office and Kranji Dam (where we missed a road that could allow us to get there faster from e frog farm). surprisingly i didn't feel very tired after all, though i was stoning when we were discussing how to suspend 14 nails on a single nail at e goat farm.

then choonkeong yongsheng kept leading e cheers throughout e trip and haoyuan's e super zai one who can just read off e map how to get to e checkpoints, though junyang said that we had gone around 2-3 big loops to get to e checkpoints. (when we were walking to Kranji Dam)

but well, while on e way to e Kranji Dam, e view at near e Kranji something center (think is some transmitting signals place) is pretty. e clouds and sky are so nice! and some of us ran, cuz junyang ran. and he ran cuz he went o.O and got some stuff wrong. haha. he always have e blur/expressionless look. HAHA!

then when we were reaching e camp, leovine suddenly had cramp at his right leg and we carried him back while singing e modified version of When the Saints go marching in (we changed Saints to Juliet). sang all e way till we reached the MPH (Multi-Purpose Hall) and we then found out that it was just a fake alarm. BOO.

then prepared for campfire. my group's item is really very last-minute and again it was prepared by leovine. it was some insiprational stuff where we stick some stickers on e people that we appreciate during otc and then we sang a song. but e song is not bad. heh.

anyway campfire is fun. hahah. though one of e emcees came and asked me for my name, group, school and whether i'm attached anot. i said no and she said to weihao that he got chance (cuz he cheered when i said i'm from SAJC). o.O

then we did this crazy chicken dance that went super freaking fast and we got e SIs (Senior Instructors) to go down and dance! it was really amusing to see junyang hweepeng do e second part of e chicken dance where two people would hook arms and then go round n round, cuz junyang's like hopping liddat. HAHA!

it was also amusing to see Mr Tan, Mr Tian (our GOH) trying to do e I got peace by the river. lol! n i saw a very nice smile after e song. ((:

Juliet was e last to perform and when we (e entire otc) were sticking stickers, went to hug loads of people. heh! n gave stickers to some of e instructors. and guess what, Juliet got FIRST for e campfire night item!!!!! xD

after everything (+ showering), Alpha went to meet up with junyang and he got e blur look again. ahahahah. then we are supposed to write an one-page long essay for him to sell ourselves to him that he would pass us for otc. i think i wrote total gibberish for e second part cuz i was really tired. bah.

then today had a run that went kinda far (junyang's crazy mann!) and a short telematch. then did area cleaning and a very long debrief cuz the CC and DCC and e others wanna noe our feedback for e camp. it rained heavily and during e 10mins break took pictures! and peijun told me a girl in Hotel is asking waicheung about his past relationships. O.o

took e bus that's holding Bravo cuz it will stop by Bishan. (and Jurong East). was kinda noisy when we were leaving e camp cuz got a lot of people. (53 people in a bus that can only seat 45 ppl n e driver seems to know one e higher ranked officers in sjab)

lunched with peijun celine jiaqing at Pastamania n then headed home. saw e doctor and i'm given ONE-DAY MC!!! but dunno whether my mum would let me use anot. *sulks.

anyway, i think this camp is really not bad cuz it's fun! and i get to see what i want to see. yeah! though i was told i'm crazy to be thinking of that. lol.

n seriously, i don't mind being an instructor for OTC. hah.

next up is Badger Comp which will take place in e upcoming saturday and then it's POC! yeah.
